Privacy policy

• What you say in a session belongs to you. The audio from an AI session is processed in real time so it can respond to you, and is not retained.
• Nothing is sold. No resale, no advertising profiling, no advertising trackers.
• Three separate consents, each revocable from your profile: live voice processing, transcript retention, and the use of your sessions to improve the method.
• Declining AI sessions only costs you the AI sessions. The courses, lessons and resources remain accessible.
• We ask for the minimum. No mailing address, no phone number, no date of birth.

Data controller: Amélio Éducation inc., a company incorporated in Quebec (Canada), which operates the Académie Dolfino.

No data protection officer has been appointed to date; the data controller responds directly to requests received at the address above.

Each line corresponds to a distinct purpose.

• Account and login — email, name, login method. The password is hashed by our authentication provider and is never readable by us. Basis: performance of the contract. Retention: until account deletion.
• Learning progress — progress through courses and lessons, downloaded resources. Basis: performance of the contract. Retention: until account deletion.
• Prior screening — answers to the questionnaire that determines access to AI sessions, and its validity date. Basis: performance of the contract and personal safety. Retention: until account deletion.
• AI sessions — audio is processed live and is not retained. The transcript is kept only if you have given the corresponding consent. Basis: consent. Retention: until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted.
• Consents — the timestamped history of your grants and withdrawals. This is the proof that consent existed; it is kept for as long as the account exists. Basis: legal obligation.
• Newsletter — email and preferences, if you sign up. Basis: consent. Retention: until unsubscription.
• Technical logs — server logs and rate limiting, with no session content. Basis: legitimate interest (security and reliability). Retention: about 30 days.

What we do not collect: mailing address, phone number, date of birth, health data. The Académie Dolfino teaches a wellness method; it makes no diagnosis and collects no medical record.

They are kept separate because they answer different questions, and each one can be withdrawn from your profile without justification.

• Live voice processing — necessary for an AI session to work: the audio must be processed in order to be understood. Refusing it, or withdrawing it, prevents an AI session from starting and nothing else.
• Transcript retention — to review a past session. Refusing it does not prevent you from doing sessions; it simply leaves no written record.
• Method improvement — so the school can study anonymized sessions and refine its scripts. Entirely optional; refusing it changes nothing about your experience.

A withdrawn consent applies going forward. It does not undo what was already processed on its basis, but it stops the processing as soon as it is withdrawn.

• No automated decision producing a legal effect is made about you. The AI guides a session; it does not evaluate you, classify you or condition any right.
• Your exchanges are not used to train our providers’ models.
• An AI session replaces neither a health professional nor human support. That is why the prior screening exists.

We do not sell or rent your data. It is accessible to the school and to the technical providers strictly necessary for the service, each acting on our instructions and only for the intended purpose:

• Authentication (accounts and login);
• Database and hosting (progress, consents, screening);
• Content management (courses, articles, these pages);
• Real-time audio transport for AI sessions;
• Language model provider for running sessions and the tutor;
• Video hosting for course videos;
• Email delivery for the newsletter and service messages;
• Rate limiting to protect the service from abuse.

Several of these providers are based outside Quebec, notably in the United States and the European Union. We would rather state it this way than claim a guarantee we have not yet verified provider by provider.

You can request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, its portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to reussite@dolfino.tv from the address associated with your account; we respond within 30 days.

If our response does not satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

The effective date appears at the top of this page. In the event of a substantive change — a new purpose, a new provider receiving session content, an extended retention period — we will inform you before it takes effect.
